This set is figures from series 7 of doctor who (2012 and 2013) The figures included are: 1 × ice warrior (with stand) 1 × weeping angel (with stand) 1 × dalek (no stand) 1 × cyberman (with stand) 1 × doctor (with stand and sonic screwdriver) 1 × Clara (with stand and bag) (I know there are variants but i'm not going into those, sorry) Well what can I say about these... small, they are tiny which makes them bad because you can't play with them, they are too small; you can loose them easily and they are so fragile, these aren't very good for kids. I have had them for about a month now and this is what has happened: The doctor's head has fallen off, the doctor's foot has fallen off I have lost Clara's bag and a cyber leg has fallen off. I don't even play with them! I get them for display purposes. This shows that it really isn't suitable for children. The worst in the wave is easily the weeping angel: Plastic is sticking out, the moulding isn't very good and you can't even put it's hands to it's face. The best is probably the Dalek which looks very good but it's just too small. I could go on forever about how bad these are. Bad move Character options! If I had to give these figures as a whole a score out of 10 I would give it a 2/10 and even that's generous. I wouldn't recommend these figures i'm afraid. Rating: 2/10.

This set is from the sixth doctor story Attack of the Cybermen (1985). The set includes: 1 × Peri, 1 × rogue cyberman, 1 × cyber gun. The set is really very good and definitely worth picking up, the detail in Peri is sublime, the only fault about her figure is that it is very hard to stand up but apart from that it is a great figure; the joints are easy to move which is always good. I give this figure 4 stars out of 5. The detail in the rogue cyberman is also very good the colours used are to represent the fact he has been in the sewers (will probably do a review of the story soon) but if you haven't seen the story you may not understand all the weird colours. The shoulder section is a bit flimsy, not sure whether it's supposed to be like that. The gun is very detailed. My biggest fault of all is the fact the face comes off (like in the picture) but it doesn't go back on, not sure if it's just mine but to this day I still haven't got it back on. I give this figure 2 stars out of 5. Overall it is good but the Cyberman let's it down. Rating 6/10. |
