My new favourite classic episode. This episode was incredibly fun and witty and interesting. Filmed in Paris 'City of death' marked the first ever episode of doctor who to be filmed abroad, and even though they weren't there long they certainly got everything in, like the Eiffel tower and the Arc de triomphe and this is one of the reasons why it was successful. Another big thing in this episode is that part 4 of this serial received the most viewers out of any other doctor who episode, which is a massive achievement. The cover I think isn't very good for such a great episode, but at least it includes the Paris skyline. The plot is a perfect plot written by David Agnew who isn't a real person, just a pseudonym, the real writer was David Fisher. The jokes were great, the fourth doctor was in his element in this episode. The makeup on the Jagaroth were great. Overall a great episode and not a boring part in sight.
